Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is a highly photographed, massive sandstone geographical feature. Uluru is what people refer to as “the outback”. My friends and I joined Emu Run’s 3-day Uluru & Kings Canyon National Park Tour. The tour brought us to gorges, waterholes, multiple views of Uluru, and Watarrka National Park. It was a true camping experience (no glamping) and we slept on the ground, out in open, one night. We were provided with a sleeping bag, a mattress, and what I like to refer to as a body bag. While I much more prefer the idea of glamping, I wouldn’t have traded this experience for anything. Uluru is breathtaking.
