Byron Bay is located south of Brisbane, south of the Gold Coast’s Surfers Paradise. It’s known for its laid back vibe and hippy kind of town. Besides the beach, there’s great cafes and shopping, making this another one of my favorite beach towns that I visited (Noosa being the other favorite). Byron is the perfect place to lie around on quiet beaches.
